City Alerts - Lee's view on Boreham Wood game

By Mike Truscott

TEAM NEWS for tomorrow's match away to EASTLEIGH, kick-off 7.45 pm.

Late checks on KIEFFER MOORE (ankle injury sustained on treadmill on Friday) and CALRON HALL (personal).  JAKE ASH (foot) came through 90 minutes on Saturday with no problems.   Otherwise just "tired legs," as Lee puts it.  "I'm speaking to someone in Plymouth today, so there's a chance I may be able to add to the squad."

Lee on BOREHAMWOOD   0   CITY  0:    "We played the full 90 minutes with the starting XI.  It was a good pitch and I would like to have brought Martin Watts on, but the way the match was going everyone was doing well and I was reluctant to change it.

"It was a very encouraging performance and result.  We were away to a high-flying team, in play-off territory, and we kept our second clean sheet in three games, which is all very positive stuff.  It was a really hard game and I thought a draw was a fair result.

Both sides had their chances and we could have won it with the penalty, but at the other end Luke made two fantastic saves.  The second was world-class and right at the death to keep us in it.

POSTER for the next home match, against Maidenhead United next Saturday, is now available on TigerTalk.
